Received the American Heritage Women in the Arts Recognition Award. This award is made by the National Society Daughters Of The American Revoulutiion to women who have made significant achievements at the community, state and national level in their artistic field, Fiber Arts-Quilting.

ITOC Boreal Forest Series, The Alaska-based arts-humanities-science consortium
In a Time of Change (ITOC) is embarking on the next project cycle culminating in a group exhibit and book entitled
In a
Time of Change: Boreal Forest Stories. The transdisciplinary exhibit will feature multiple artists and humanists working
in a variety of media, following regular interactions with scientists, to produce original works that communicate narratives
rooted in the boreal forest, including its ecology, its inhabitants, and their interactions.

What do you get when you set nine composers loose in Denali National Park? You
get nine great pieces of music! Give this music to artists as inspiration and you get eighteen great pieces of art! In
conjunction with the A-Space Gallery exhibit,
"DENALI: Artists Respond To Music Inspired By Wilderness", participants of
Composing in the Wilderness, a shared wilderness experience for adventurous composers and members of the Elements Artist
Group will discuss the collaboration, share performances of the music and images of artwork in a virtual music and art
experience.

Rasmuson Foundation named Ree Nancarrow as
one of 36 Individual Artist Awards recipients. Ree has been telling complex stories with
her art for years. Her goal is to create a series of large art quilts that interpret a
variety of the impacts from climate change in a new and very personal way.

Birds On The Edge: Dynamic Boundaries featured contemporary images of avian species by selected
artists, by invitation only. It was held in conjunction with the 137th annual
meeting of the American Ornithological Society to highlight the birds in Alaska
that are living 'on the edge' of sustainability, due to ecological boundaries
that have been shifting rapidly, dynamically, and often unpredictably. For more
